Submission guidelines
Comments will normally be between 500 and 1500 words
and show thought provoking and lively engagement with debates surrounding
the themes of the journal. Comments should be written in a journalistic-creative
style and should be submitted without a referencing system or bibliography.
They are not meant to be mini-academic papers. They are an opportunity
for individuals to express their subjective thoughts and feelings on matters
of importance. Comments should be based on media practice and the political
and social-cultural issues that arise from practice. They can be reflective
pieces or a comment on current issues and themes.
We welcome original contributions and responses to existing
comments from all members of the public. So if you feel that you have
something important to say, then send your comment to us for consideration.
Submissions should be sent as attachments to: editorial@fifth-estate-online.co.uk
Publication is subject to the approval of the editors.
